Terms and conditions of use

Any person accessing, visiting or using this Internet site (the Site), in particular by sending an e-mail to one of the members of the firm VILRET & PARTNERS (the Firm) or to the bodies or representatives of the Firm, whether acting on his or her own behalf or on behalf of any legal entity (a User) declares and guarantees that he or she has read these conditions of use and accepts their terms and conditions, without restriction or reservation.
Each User must also regularly review these conditions of use, as the Study reserves the right to update and/or modify them at any time and without prior notice.

Purpose of the Site
The purpose of the Site is to provide general information on the activities of the firm, its members and its areas of expertise. L'Étude does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy or timeliness of the information contained on the Site.
The Site and the legal information it may contain do not in any way constitute legal advice, a legal opinion or a legal consultation.
L'Étude does not guarantee that the Site will be accessible on a continuous basis.
Consequently, L'Étude may in no way be held liable for any alleged or proven damage suffered directly or indirectly by any User as a result of connecting to the Site, consulting and/or using the information provided on the Site.

Data protection

Users whose personal data, such as e-mail address, name and contact details, are collected or who communicate personal data with the Study, via the Site, are informed that they have, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (RGPD), of a right of information, access, opposition that they may exercise with the Study by sending an email to the following address administration@vilret-partners.lu.
In this respect, the User may obtain the information required by the RGPD.
The person responsible for processing personal data is the Study, on its own behalf.
Personal data is stored and used solely for the purpose of replying to e-mails sent to the Study and its members. This personal data may be kept and stored by the Study for a reasonable period of time to ensure that replies are processed.
The User is informed that the Site uses cookies to store browsing information during Site consultation. A cookie does not allow the User to be identified. It does, however, record information relating to the User's browsing on the Site (pages consulted, date and time of consultation, etc.), which may be read during subsequent visits. The User may prevent the placement of cookies by configuring his browser settings in accordance with the documentation supplied with the software.
Users' IP addresses are stored by the Study solely for the purposes of examining any malfunctions on the Site, ensuring its security and maintenance, and making anonymous statistical calculations.
Personal data relating to members of the firm and made accessible on the Site may not be collected or processed without the prior written consent of the person concerned. In particular, each User agrees not to collect or use, either manually or automatically, such personal data to send advertising messages or messages of any other nature unrelated to the activities of the firm and its members.

Intellectual property

The Site and each of its component parts, in particular texts, articles, newsletters, press releases, presentations, brochures, illustrations, photographs, etc., are the exclusive intellectual property of the firm or of third parties, for example in the case of third-party trademarks that may be mentioned.
Users are only authorized to display the Site on the screen of their personal computer and to temporarily reproduce the files that make it up in the cache memory of this computer for the sole purpose of facilitating access and/or consultation of the Site. The User is not authorized to reproduce, represent, modify, translate and/or adapt, in whole or in part, for valuable consideration or free of charge, the Site and each of its component parts, nor to reproduce and/or represent such translations, adaptations and modifications, in whole or in part, for valuable consideration or free of charge, without the prior written consent of the firm.
As an exception to the foregoing, the Study authorizes Users to download documents owned by the Study which are made available to Users in the form of electronic files specifically for downloading.
In this case, and unless otherwise expressly stipulated on each of the aforementioned documents, the User will only be authorized to hold one copy of these documents and to print these documents for strictly private use. In particular, the User may not distribute these documents to third parties, including by sending them by e-mail, by printing and distributing them on a tangible medium or by making them available on a server installed on a public or private network.

Hypertext links

Users are not authorized to create a hypertext link to the Site and/or any page of the Site and/or any file contained therein without the prior written consent of the firm.
Under no circumstances may the firm be held liable for the existence of hypertext links between its Site and third-party sites.
